| Come watch the Eagles from the South Sauty Creek Store. Many times while eating breakfast, Eagles can be seen diving for fish and ducks. If you are lucky, as I was, you could see and photograph the swimming eagle. Ya,ll Come! | As I was looking across the campground, I noticed the eagle pirched in the tree. I grabbed my camera and headed out for a close up. After getting the snap shot of the eagle in the tree, the eagle flew off and I thought that would be the end of the photo session. At that time I notice the eagle turn towards the dock and land. As I walked closer and closer to the eagle thinking he would fly away at anytime, he jumped into the water. I thought at one time that I may need to save him by jumping into the water and throwing him up into the air. I waited as he began to swim under the dock towards the opposite shore. When the eagle arrived at the the shore I realized that he had a three pound catfish in his talons. The eagle peacefully had lunch at South Sauty Marina. | HIT COUNTER:
